I want to model this to my children, all the days of my life!
It is a
simple sermon. Before you part your lips to speak, you must ask yourself
this question: Are my words kind, necessary, and true?”
“If the answer to all three parts of that question is yes . . . proceed ahead.”
“If the answer to any part of that question is no . . . stop the words from coming out. - http://proverbs31.org/devotions/devotion-author/lysa-terkeurst/
Thank you, to my sweet co-worker(Laura) who forward her devotion to me:)
About Me
- N
- I consider myself an average person. My belief in God is my foundation, my ALL. In general life is hard, but to walk this life without my God would be unimaginable. My husband Chris, is an extraordinary man, loves God and Loves his family. We found ourselves walking the road of infertility 3 years into our marriage. It was a challenging road to walk through, but i wouldn't change a thing. God has its purpose for this valley we are traveling through (psalms 84:6) .With God's grace we have made this valley into a place of springs! I’m truly blessed. God has and continues to show favor in our lives. I pray every day that I never stop seen the good things God has done in my life.

It takes a village to raise a child
We've all heard how "it takes a village to raise a child". I wonder, what will it take for us to raise my 5:) I try my best to research and gather information on how to be a fit parent. I will listen to wise counsel from Godly parents who have walked the road or are in the mist of it. For example, Ms. Julia( a God sent to us, we love Ms. Julia) she watches over my two little ones while we are at work. She provided me with great advise from her small group class on disciplining your child in a Godly manner.
My older boy Z and his younger brother C, made a few bad choices one morning while waiting for their school bus. I wanted to ring their little necks(in a loving way :) ), but instead I prompted my husband with the idea of providing a bible verse discussion. I was so proud of my Hubby, he took Proverbs 13, read it to the boys. His tone of voice was perfect, not in anger but in LOVE. So important for us to understand, God is a LOVING GOD, not only in times of Discipline but also when he is showering us with Gifts.
CELEBRATING Gregory's 4th B-day:):) I love you too much! Thank you for your sweet spirit my son:)
Thank you Jesus, for this important message.
- The advise- Have your child read a verse in the bible and write an essay on what he/she just read.
